Description
Technology
Fireguard® tanks are held to the Steel Tank Institute (STI) standards and STI requires fabricators who manufacture Fireguard® tanks to adhere to the STI quality assurance program. Under this program, independent quality control inspectors make unannounced visits to the tank plant, ensuring fabrication to the highest possible standards. Bush-Whacker tanks hold a 100% rating after all of 2009 inspections.
Fireguard® tanks features a super lightweight insulation within the interstice so it can be easily relocated. The porous insulation material allows migration of any liquid through the interstice to the monitoring point. Unlike plastic liners, the steel double-wall design provides 10 percent UL-listed secondary containment. And Fireguard® comes delivered as a complete unit with the Steel Tank Institute’s quality assurance built in.
