Buzzback from our Customers!

When I bought some acreage
5 years ago I needed something
quick and with no prior experience
I relied on the Tractor salesman's
recommendation. The rotary mower
I bought didn't even last out
the year.
I am a professional
project manager and have bought
all kinds of equipment over
the years. So, I knew how to
get out and do some real research.
I soon realized I needed
to find a quality rotary cutter.
I purchased your 5' Rotary Mower
4 years ago and have been completely
satisfied. The Bush-Whacker
has met and exceeded my expectations.
I never have to worry about
it performing properly. The
robust and well thought out
construction is clearly evident
throughout the mower.
I am now in the market
for a 5' Finishing Mower. Could
you please send me a quote with
your lead time F.O.B. your location
in North Little Rock.
Thanks — it’s always
great to hear about our products
performing well for our customers.

I saw the program on TV
featuring your company. Very
impressed, looks like it would
be a great investment opportunity.
Do you have any plans to take
the company public?
Thanks for your note.
At this time we have no plans
to take the company public so
the best "investment"
opportunity we can offer is
our products! If you are in
the market for a heavy-duty
cutter, a utility vehicle, or
a steel tank (we have another
division) we'd love to help
you.

I hear a major mower manufacturer
is thinking about getting into
the Bush-Whacker parts business.
Thanks
for sharing that. Of course
we don't think anyone wants
to pay sky-high for will-fit
from a has-been. Our customers
have already figured out who
the leader is, and now even
our competitors are noticing.
They can't catch up, but it's
fun to watch, anyway.

Well. All I can say is I LIKE
your girls. I mean....ads! No,
I don't NEED to see them either.
But, I enjoy a heavenly body
as much as the next guy! Keep
'em coming!
Thanks
for noticing. We like them,
too — the girls and the
ads. And we really like the
fact that they get folks like
you to come to our site. We
hope you'll enjoy the best cutters
in the world, too — ours!

What are the required HP
ratings for your cutters?
We
get this question a lot. So
much that we decided to create
a Bush-Whacker
Advisor Page that
provides this information (along
with other facts and figures)
to everyone.

. . .does your 104 and 121 have
a tee bar or a circular dish
"stumpjumper" that the blades
are attached to?
Thanks
for your question — yes,
all our (non-boom) cutters are
designed with blades attached
to a stump-jumper. This is one
of the many ways we have designed
durability into our line.

Your inside cover ad on January
2005 Farm Equipment Showcase
leaves a lot to be desired.
Had to study the ad closely
to see what you are advertising.
A good product does not need
half-dressed girls to sell it.
We
do appreciate your comments,
and as you can tell by some
of the earlier buzz, this whole
ad campaign has generated a
stir. We are glad that you studied
the ad closely — that's
why we put it there! A good
product needs attention, and
all of our advertising is designed
to attract that. Keep your eyes
peeled for our new campaign
coming in the next few weeks.
And check out our website to
find out how good our product
is — or just talk to one
of our thousands of happy customers!

I'd like to know more about your
skidsteer mounted mower. Please
send me any information you have
to the address below. Do you have
any plans to build a mower for ATV's?
Thanks.
Thanks
for your question. We currently
don't have a cutter specifically
designed for skidsteer mounting.
We have considered building such
mowers, so watch this space! As
far as mowers for ATVs, that's a
new one on us- we'll take a look
at it and if it makes sense for
our customers, we'll certainly consider
this as a future new product. We'll
keep you posted on this, as well.
Thanks again for your interest.

I like your ads.
Thanks so much for your comment!
We have been pleased with our marketing
campaign this year and it is nice
to hear when others enjoy it as
well. We are gearing up for next
year so stay tuned for what we have
in store!

I was wanting to know if you have
to use the women to sell your product
because it isn't that good, or if
you're selling the girl. I would not
want my daughter like this. Sell your
product not the girl. Not all men
need to see this ...we have great
wives no matter what they look like.
We
are always glad to hear comments,
positive or negative, on our advertising
or any other aspect of our business
operations, and we thank you for taking
the time to put your thoughts in writing.
Of
course, it may be true that not all
men need to see this but it did get
your attention. Major manufacturers
that have been selling the same product
to the same people for decades get
plenty of that, but as a small company
who only recently began selling into
the agri market (although we have
made these cutters for many years),
we have to do things a little differently.
We believe if you will honestly evaluate
our products (now that you know who
we are), you will find that they are
the best value for the dollar. You
can find our dealers by using the
handy dealer link.
We
have had quite a bit of positive feedback
from this campaign, but we are constantly
evaluating the content and results
of our marketing campaigns and will
consider your input as we plan for
the future.
April
12, 2004 I really like your
new products including the sickle
mowers. These products give us another
choice for specialty mowing and right
of way clearing. When are you going
to provide us with an alternate affordable
boom mower?
First,
thanks for your comment, it's always
nice to hear good things about our
products. And the answer to "when"
is "soon"- watch our news
page for the official announcement.
The specs for the cutter are already
on the products page, and we're working
like dogs to deliver this much-requested
product.

Why did we come up
with a Sicklebar mower?
That’s
the question we’ve heard since
we announced it a few weeks ago. Well,
the answer is that our customers asked
us to. Seems they couldn’t find
one that came up to the standards
our rotary cutters have been setting
for 40 years. Of course, we can’t
be as accommodating as the local DJ,
but let us know what you’d like
us to build and we’ll see what
we can do.
December

We hear one of our larger competitors
has come up with a mower they call
the “Bush-Whacker beater.”
Of
course that’s not the “official”
name, just the one they kick around
when no one’s looking. Kind
of makes you wonder, doesn’t
it? Here we are, a small family-owned
business making a few mowers, and
next thing you know, we’ve got
imitators. Kind of makes us proud;
after all, “imitation is the
sincerest form of flattery.”
